One of the biggest reasons for moving to Dubai from Holland is the weather. Don’t get me wrong, I am madly in love with Holland, but what we sometimes forget is that the weather has a great impact on ANYONE’S mood.
When I heard the news that Hamac beach boutique launched their new SS15 collections at the Cove I could not wait to go and check it out! I previously bought some amazing cover-ups from Lara Ethnics at Hamac and I keep returning to the store to expand my Havaianas collection!
As the SS15 Launch event took place in the beachy settings of the Cove I got dressed up in this beautiful cover-up from Pain de Sucre
LOOK // Cover-up & bikini – Pain de Sucre // Wedge heels – Charlotte Olympia //
// Pouch – Muche et Muchette // Phone cover – L*SPACE by Monica Wise // Panama hat – Equa Andino //
We enjoyed some amazing cocktails while we watched a fashionshow showcasing the SS15 collection Hamac has to offer.
The debut Spring Summer 15 collections are inspired by five stories; Jungle Luxe, Morocco, Santa Monica, Sportif, White Sands and Bond Girl – each taking reference from international forecasted trends of the season. Exclusively stocking La Blanca, Bikini Lab, L*Space and Lara Ethnics to name just a few, the collections are curated with beach happiness in mind.
Colour, gorgeous prints and flattering shapes are key to Hamac and this season does not disappoint. Detailing is prominent and plaiting is found adorned on the sides of bikini bottoms and the backs of vibrant tops. Rouching also plays a role, allowing for forgiving shapes and flattering seams, for added confidence on the beach.
The SS15 palette reinforces and reflects Hamac’s essence of happiness, sunshine and love. Fondant and candy colours are prominent this season and compliment all skin tones. The collections are awash in soft shades that go beyond the pale, with blush pink, buttercup yellow and ocean hues, when mixed with bold tonal punches the trend looks sweet despite the heat in a rainbow of taffy-coloured hues.
Hamac work with the most notable brands, resulting in a curation of swimwear, cover ups, accessories and outerwear that are designed to empower women and men across all ages, skin tones and body shapes with a sense of confidence. Spring Summer 15 reinforces this message as Hamac translate the key trends for the season into a sophisticated collection that evoke a fashion forward and desirable lifestyle.
Hamac have been creating fashionable beach culture in Dubai since 1999. Whether relaxing by the pool, dancing at a beach club or having a family day out, Hamac’s philosophy is feel happy, comfortable and gorgeous. Stocking international brands such as, Melissa Odabash, Vilebrequin, Pain De Sucre, and Feriado Nacional there are stunning prints and flattering shapes for everyone.
