It is not often that I don’t like change. But when it comes to online shopping I have to admit that i am a late bloomer. With that I mean “40 year old virgin” style. Even though it is very hard to find something exclusive to wear in Dubai, it never hit me that I might have to search online to avoid the shameful “who wore it better” as it happens quite often people where the same stuff at a party.
Perhaps you already read in my previous post on the Level 43 event that my first “EVAAAAAH” online shopping spree was the result of a crazy deadline to get a last minute outfit whilst having a fully booked schedule.
I went to www.namshi.com, which is a Dubai based online fashion retailer, and ordered some really cool outfits from the brand missguided, which is not sold anywhere else in Dubai. (As far as i am aware.) Even though I’m a rookie in the online shopping world it surprisingly took me only a few clicks to place my order. Just 2 days later there it was: a stunning black box with my outfits!
The scary part then was trying on the clothes, but because of the great sizing system it fitted like a glove!
The good part of Namshi.com is that you can return your purchase if it doesn’t fit or if its not up to your taste. Besides from that is is dead cheap and it has thousands of products to choose from! Basically you can get yourself a whole new outfit wihout much stressing about your wallet which is quite important right?

I love the dress and the brand! Everything about the design, cut and graphic appeals to me and is all around attention-grabbing. I would definitely be caught wearing this dress on a weekend out on-the-town… but most importantly, NYE in NYC at the MSG! That’s the plan ;)
