All good things come to an end, and so did my vacation… I’m back in Dubai and I have to admit that it is quite difficult to settle back in my regular pattern.. The annoying thing of coming back from vacation, is that you even more feel like you really need a vacation.. However, the positive side to being back is that I finally have time to share all the nice stuff I did during my trip!! At least that’s a good way to re-live the moments and help me through the week!
A few days ago, when I was still in the beautiful Paris (sigh..) I went ice skating together with my boyfriend and some friends.. I have been ice skating a lot, as that is what “we Dutch people” do, but this time was different! We actually went ice skating in the Grand Palais! Oh sorry, you’re confused? Yeah, had that too.. For the first time in History (sounds big) the grand palais was turned in to an ice rink of 1,800-square-meter large! Named as France largest seasonal ice rink, it was quite impressive! The place was transformed into an ice-skating disco inclusive a massive disco ball shimmering things up! See below some pictures of the ice rink, and us doing our dance moves on the ice!
