This week I was one of the lucky ones to be invited to Namshi’s first birthday! During their anniversary they also gave us the honors to see their new Spring Summer collection that literally came fresh out their warehouse! Seriously, I wish I was already so developed after my fist birthday.. Unfortunately I just managed to grow myself a tooth and blow air bubbles with my mouth….The event was hosted at the Meydan Beachclub and it actually made me feel a bit exclusive to be there! Namshi is one of the few online department stores in the UAE where you seriously can find fashion catered to any style choice at all price points.. And believe me, I don’t promote something I’m not a fan off, but honestly Namshi is da bomb! At the event I Had so much fun chatting with some of the COOLEST buyers, who source their brands from all over the world. They took me through their website, gave me a private viewing of their merchandise and explained me about their brands. I was super excited to see that they are the first ones to bring the Dutch developed brand SUPERTRASH to the Middle East! Next to that, they carry brands such as House of Harlow, Belle Noelle (Kim K), Jeffri Campbell, BCBG and Sam Edelman. But what I love the most is that they have super cute dresses at epic low prices (think: 100 aed!!) During the show I also saw a lot of upcoming trends that I mentioned before on the blog.. White, silver, black and metallic colors… I also saw some super cool graphic prints, and not to forget my favorite trend… army prints! LOVEEEE!! I’m actually still searching for a super cool old fashioned army jacket.. Perhaps I can find one in a vintage market in Europe next week!! Looking at the fashion show my eyes really popped out when I saw the men’s collection.. Noooooooo!!! Not just because of the awesomely hot models, but because I saw style and originality in the clothes they bought.. Not many people in the region know how to dress a man, but Namshi actually made me want to go shopping for my boyfriend! (Yeah, weird right?!)
