SIN had the opportunity to cover the Jean Paul Gaultier show at Paris fashion week and what a show it was! Read and see here about everything we captured.

Just a message to start off with: Mr Jean Paul Gaultier.. You are the Greatest!! Wonder why? Main reason must be the most amazing “show-show” at Paris fashion week! With an average of 90 official fashion shows during PFW it is not easy to stand out, but when you are known as the king of shows it is hard not to disappoint.
The rock-band KISS on the frow.. Clothes on the runway that don’t even come close to any trend forecasts… Disco queen Amanda Lear performing, Impersonations of Madonna and Michael Jackson…. drag-queens and disco balls, What a great ~~back to the 80’s disco~~ show! The show was split up with several impersonations starring Jourdan Dunn as Sade, Karlie Kloss as Boy George, and Jessica Stam going back to like-a-virgin-Madonna. Not to forget, the unforgettable performance of Amanda Lear in her electric pink sequin swimsuit. Her accessory? Hot toy boy model Tarik Lakehal.. Which I happened to have a quick backstage photo shoot encounter with ;-) Lucky me!

Mr Gaultier said his inspiration for the show was: “a homage to all the pop stars of the eighties who have influenced fashion and my fashion with their look,” His show was so amazing that the guest soon lost their stiff fashion poker faces and bursted out by shouting and cheering the models!
